The File Properties window shows details on the selected file.

 

 

Different types of information may be shown for various file types. The description is a user-defined text; for example, to supply more descriptive information about the file than the file name can convey. The name is shown in the Detail View. During the creation of a catalog, the program automatically attempts to retrieve the data shown here about the file (e.g., program version information, etc.).
