Please observe the following when installing Virtual CD:
| • | Upgrade – You can upgrade your installation only if you have Virtual CD v8 or v9. During installation of v10, you will need to enter the license code from your earlier version. Please have it on hand when you start the installation. |
| • | Installation on a Server – Virtual CD is not designed for use as server software; it must be installed on a normal workstation. A special Virtual CD File Server (FS) Edition is available for server installation. If you use a server as a workstation, you can still install Virtual CD on that machine; when you run the Setup program, however, you will be prompted to confirm that the program will be installed on a server before installation continues. |
