The tooltip shown for an image summarizes the information available for that image. To view the tooltip text, hover the mouse cursor over the desired image. It is not necessary to select the image. The tooltip text opens after a moment. As soon as you move the mouse again, the tooltip vanishes.
The tooltip shows essential properties of an image. To change the tooltip text, select Properties to open the image properties dialog; you can edit the text in this dialog.

You can switch the display of tooltips off, or back on again, on the View tab of the Ribbon by selecting or deselecting Tooltips. |

You can also have tooltips shown for images found by the image search function. In addition to information about the CD, the tooltip for an image that is not registered in Virtual CD contains a command for registering the virtual CD. |
