Computer crash or blue screen with Virtual CD v10 on Windows 8

Inserting a very large virtual CD from a NAS share may cause a BSOD MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. Inserting the same virual CD from a local disk works without any problem.

This problem pertains to Virtual CD v10 including version 10.5.0.0.

Workaround: Go to Virtual CD Settings -> Driver and activate the check box "use alternative mode for accessing image files".
