Virtual CD burner fails to emulate the physical drive under PC TV PLUS

PC TV PLUS is a software manufactured by SONY Corp.
PC TV PLUS is provided with the function to burns BR-RE DL
I have burned BR-RE DL on the physical drive successfully.

Virtual CD burner fails to burn a blank disc, where the template of
the blank disc is from BR-RE DL on the physical drive.

Creating a virtual blank disc

Znfortunatley it is not quite clear to me, what you've been trying. What do you mean with "the template of the blank disc is from BR-RE DL on the physical drive"? Did you create the blank disk as described in the Virtual CD Online Help and insert it in the virtual drive?

PC is connected to a physical drive

PC is connected to a physical drive, to which the blank BR-RE DL disc is
inserted.

When I create the blank disc,
Tabs and Tools > Create a blank virtual medium ->
Create a Create CD Blank Media Wizard
and I select the drive letter of the physical drive

What happens if you choose a virtual drive instead?

When I choose the virtual drive in the Virtual CD Blank Media Wizard,

Cannot read information on the blank in the J drive.
Please make sure the blank in the selected drive and try again.

Blank media in virtual drive

Is the blank media really inserted in the virtual drive? On double-clicking the virual drive in Windows Explorer you should get a dialog where you have to decide how to use the blank disc, as an USB stick or with a CD/DVD Player.

When I click BD-RE drive in Windows Explorer

I have a message in Japanese about formatting the disc.

First Title of disc
Second USB flash stick
Third CD/DVD player

As expected

This is the dialog I expect after creation and insertion of the blank disc. I did some further testing: You cannot insert a blank disc into a physical drive.

When I insert the blank disc into the virtual CD drive.

Tabs and Tools > Create a blank virtual medium
Virtual CD Blank Media Wizard
Define the type, size and properties of the blank to be created:
Create a Medium
Inserting the new blank medium after it has been created:
Insert in J:
Close Blank Media Wizard , clicking Create

Where J is the drive letter of the Virtual Burner.

So I am sure I have inserted the blank virtual medium
to the virtual burner.
